  1. WHAT IS WHAT IN BERTA?

    What are Tags?

Tags in Berta are used for grouping. If your works fit common criteria, then you can tag them with the same word (or wordgroup) which then becomes a part of the submenu. Some of your work might even span multiple disciplines - then you add multiple tags, and the same work appears in multiple subsections. When you edit them, separate tags by commas.

For example, if you have a section called Recent Work and there you have three photography pieces, two music videos and an experimental work, then you might want to tag them photography, "music video" and experimental accordingly. Thus your section Recent Work will have three sub-sections named after the tags.

    What is URL?

URL is professional name for link. It should look like this: http://www.youtube.com.

    What is FTP?

FTP is File Transfer Protocol — using FTP you can connect directly to your server, set up Berta or upgrade it. To do so you are gonna need an FTP Client or browser — small software you install on your computer. For PC we recommend Filezilla, for mac: CyberDuck.
